Damodar Goutam Sawang

Damodar Goutam Sawang is an IPS Officer of the 1986-Batch, who was later appointed as the DGP of Andhra Pradesh in 2019.

In addition to his excellent performance, he is also responsible for several technological reforms in the police department. He introduced the AP Police Seva mobile application in October, 2020. This allows the police to report 79 different issues and collect documents by downloading or emailing them.
