‘Villages of Excellence’ to be established in India

Centre has announced the conversion of 150 villages from 12 states into ‘Villages of Excellence.’ They have joined hands with Israel Government for assistance.

29 Centres of Excellence have already been setup. These centres are being used to train 1.2 lakh farmers per year.
